Why this one
The Powerfly+ FS 4 is for riders who want the traction and control of a full-suspension mountain bike, with an 800Wh battery for genuinely long days. It is more capable on rough ground than a hardtail, while remaining approachable for forest routes, bridleways and mixed adventures.
The motor
Bosch Performance Line CX supplies up to 85Nm of torque through the Smart System. The 800Wh Bosch PowerTube provides the capacity expected from a bike designed for long trail days.
The drivetrain and brakes
Shimano CUES U6000 gives ten gears and an 11-48 cassette. Tektro four-piston hydraulic disc brakes with 203mm rotors provide control when a heavier, faster full-suspension bike reaches a steep descent.
What it is like to ride
RockShox Recon Silver front suspension and a Deluxe Select rear shock give traction over roots, loose corners and repeated impacts. The TranzX dropper post lets you lower the saddle before a descent.
